Matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

God has always wanted us to spread the good news around the entire world.  As a church we want to obey the great commission and do our part to help evangelize the world.  Missions involves disciples time, money and tons of sacrifices, but it is worth it!  Each fall we will be taking up a special missions contribution to help not only Italy but the rest of Europe and many other places.  

As the church in Milano grows we want to begin to plant other churches throughout Italy.  The great news is that the church in Milan is growing!  Some of the cities we hope to plant churches in are as follows:
Rome, Turin, Naples, Florence, Palermo, Sardegna and Bari.  By planting these churches over the next 10 years, they in turn can plant churches in some of the smaller cities.  We need God to open the doors and make clear what churches should be planted first, much prayer is especially needed in order to accomplish this!.  Italy is a country of almost 60 million people.  The changes in the European Union over the last several years have been literally changing the face of Europe.  Europe is becoming truly a melting pot of many nations. There are many blessings with this and of course challenges.  For disciples it just opens more doors for home countries and cities to be evangelized.
